The Haystack Swayback, is a modern take on a timeless classic. This knife makes a perfect companion from the woods to the kitchen. The subtle curve of the handle and blade make this knife feel like a part of your hand when using.
The blade is 8670 high carbon steel, heat treated in house with professional equipment. Rockwell scale is 61 and measures 6.75" in length, with a 2.5" blade. Comes with handmade leather pocket clip sheath.
Please note:
Carbon steel will rust. It must be hand washed and wiped dry after use.
Applying a light coat of mineral oil or wax is recommended as well. When taken care of properly, it develops a wonderful patina overtime that is unique to each user…we love that around here.
