The Puukko Pup design is inspired by the traditional Puukko. The cutting edge hosts a micro bevel, which makes for easy sharpening touch ups.
This knife is perfect for running around in the woods or just hanging out on the porch.
The overall length is 5", with a blade length of 2", and is made of 8670 much carbon steel which has been heat treated to industry specifications. The Rockwell hardness is 61 HRC.
Each knife comes with a handmade, leather pocket clip sheath.
Please note:
Carbon steel will rust. It must be hand washed and wiped dry after use.
Applying a light coat of mineral oil or wax is recommended as well. When taken care of properly, it develops a wonderful patina overtime, that is unique to each user…we love that around here.
