The Barn and Brook Folder is completely handcrafted with a classic o1 tool steel blade, .040 brass or nickel silver liner.
The bird's-eye pivot pin is made in house, with 1/4" brass rod and stainless steel pin, then peened into place along with the two nickel silver or brass back pins.
This robust, classic construction allows for a long lasting life.
The measurements are, closed 4", open 6.75". Blade length is 2.75" with a Rockwell scale of 60 and a mirror finished cutting edge.
Please note:
Carbon steel will rust. It must be hand washed and wiped dry after use.
Applying a light coat of mineral oil or wax is recommended as well. When taken care of properly, it develops a wonderful patina overtime that is unique to each user…we love that around here.
